Throughout chess's history, there have been many beautiful and instructional games. Personally, going through great games has helped me improve and grasp a deeper understanding of chess. This page is a showcase of the games for those looking for an extra edge.
Donald Byrne vs. Bobby Fischer
This is the "Game of the Century", a chess game played between Donald Byrne and Bobby Fischer (when he was 13 years old). Bobby Fischer sacrificed his queen to get a strong minor piece attack on Byrne's king.
Paul Morphy-Duke Karl vs. Count Isoaurd
Morphy made great use of his pins which paralyzed black from developing his pieces. He ended the masterpiece by sacrificing his bishop, rook, and queen.
Walter Browne vs. Arthur Bisguier
Browne offered his bishop in return of fast development which would stop black from castling queenside and putting his king out of danger.
Alex Wang vs. Ruifeng Li
I played an error free game against a super GM, and I ended up drawing him.
